1 Mrs Z came to us after trying for 17 years. She consulted many doctors over this time. She had laparoscopy 10 years ago on which her tubes were patent. Husband’s semen test and her ovulation tests were also normal. She was told that everything was ok and she will conceive on her own. She continued visiting many doctor with no avail. When she came to us we offered assessment of uterine cavity as first investigation. Saline infusion sono-hysterography was carried out that showed that her uterus is internally divided into two parts and the sound part is hosting a large piece of tissue(polyp) thus not allowing her pregnancy to implant. That piece of tissue was removed. Subsequently she conceived within following 3 months and now has a healthy daughter.
